"You Stole My Vote" 51 Capital March
is a people's uprising!
The most important form of your participation is to show up at your state capital at 12:00 noon on December 12th!!!
Provided here, are things we EACH can do prior to December 12th. Our rights are important and preserving our voting rights is vital to protecting our democracy and constitution. Please stand up, get involved, and make your voice heard.
Things I Can Do
Send a chain-email to everyone I know
Tell them about the protest:on December 12th
Ask them to volunteer at 51capitalmarch.com
Ask them to forward the text of your email to everyone they know
Include http://www.51capitalmarch.com in your chain-email
Brainstorm with them how to publicize the protest in my or their state
Ask them what they can do to get the word out, involve public figures, recruit public speakers, supply such things as a PA system, signs, petition sign-up tables, and volunteer for march support or a state coordinator role
Encourage them to volunteer at www.51capitalmarch.com
Ask organizations who know me to get involved
Publicize the protest to their members, asking for their participation
Ask members to volunteer (and register at 51CapitalMarch.com)
Sponsor the protest
Open their rolodex (see #2 above)
Provide resources and supplies (signs, petition tables, PA system)
Volunteering an event speaker
