The
vote fraud exhibited in the November election, facilitated
by the loss of paper trails and "dirty" voting
systems, has resulted in the loss of trust in the integrity
of our votes.
While e-voting machines in and of themselves can
be easily compromised and manipulated (there are ample 'incidents'
of such
in
the
November election), the threat transcends the machine
we vote on. The heart of 'dirty' voting systems prevalent
in 2004
lies
in the computers that tabulate the votes. These 'tabulator'
PCs accept and count the votes from all precincts, regardless
of the voting machine employed.
Tabulator
PCs, as presently designed, offer the feature
of easily changing vote totals without any trace. Take away
any paper trail, and there is virtually no way to detect malicious
vote manipulation. Furthermore, because these PCs are accessible
by modem dial-up and/or Internet access, it doesn't take a vast
conspiracy involving thousands of poll workers to massively
subvert the vote. A hand full of connected PCs is all one needs
to alter election results by millions of votes!. This
'dirty' system has destroyed the integrity of our voting. As
it now stands, our voting systems can NOT be trusted.
As
Americans, we can no longer look to the next election with any
assurance that our votes will mean anything. The new voting
systems are so easily compromised and so obviously designed
to facilitate vote count manipulation that citizens are facing
for the first time a future without hope. Without hope, our
innate optimism is diminished, our drive to succeed impaired,
and our ability to dream lost. That which makes us great as
a people and a country will disappear within a generation.
With
a compromised voting system, we are open to tyranny
and a complete loss of control over our government and elected officials.
Without
any control on the exercise of power, we now face
a very
real threat to our democracy and our freedom. No citizen can
dare sit idly by in the face of losing all that has brought our
country greatness.

This video footage is a must see for everyone who feels a concern regarding
the gross injustices that took place in African American precincts in
Ohio on election day. We have done the civil rights movement in this country
already. Heck we have had to do it a few times. Yet, if you feel that
everyone is indeed equal, then you are not paying attention. Through deceitful
manipulation of information and equiptment, the citizens of Ohio were
often turned away from voting booths. This footage, which is in 2 parts,
is a documentaion of what took place on Nov 2nd. It is only a small part
of the larger story.
A press release was sent out today to the press and public this morning.
The video footage provides a first hand glimpse of what transpired in
Franklin County on Election Day, only in heavily leaning Democratic precincts,
including unexplained voting machine shortages, organized campaigns directing
voters to the wrong polling places, malfunctioning voter tabulation equipment,
election worker confusion and incompetence, and a host of other problems.
However, as detailed in an official affidavit by Richard Hayes Phillips,
a geomorphology Ph.D. from University of Oregon, the extent of voter disenfranchisement
was systematic and widespread in African American precincts throughout
the state. Dr.
Phillips sworn testimony read:
"For the second
Presidential election in a row African American voters have been subjugated
to second class citizens through systematic efforts by Republicans to
suppress, intimidate, and disenfranchise our vote," said Rev. Bill
Moss, the original Plaintiff in Ohio, and founder of the Center for Freedom
and Justice. "Whether its Katherine Harris or Kenneth Blackwell,
the purpose is the same: do everything in their power to ensure George
W. Bush becomes President. If those in power are willing and able to thwart
democracy and abuse the civil rights of American voters, right in the
face of the press and public, what won’t they do? I am contesting
this election because tyranny, particularly in the guise of democracy,
is our civic duty to fight."
John Conyers released a second letter to the president of Triad
Sytems, supplier of Ohio's tabulator computers used to count the votes
in November's election. The letter indicates the Triad computers were
accessible over the Internet and were accessed by Triad. This is the
first evidence of possible tabulator manipulation remotely
without election officials' knowledge or consent. The need for a nationwide
investigation into tabulater manipulation is now more evident then
ever. Rep. Conyers' letter:

Dear Mr. Rapp and Mr. Barbian:
As follow-up to the letter I sent yesterday, I’d like to inquire further
about allegations that have just been brought to my attention. It appears
that officials in Fulton and Henry counties have confirmed that Triad
had remote access to tabulating computers controlled by the Boards of
Elections.’ Officials stated that your company did not come into the
Board of Elections to adjust the tabulation software because it could
be, and had been, done remotely. I would like to know:
1. Which Ohio counties can you access remotely?
2. Which counties did you access remotely? What changes did you make
to software or ballots?
3. As discussed in yesterday ’s letter, did you use your remote access
to inquire how machine votes would be counted in order to instruct
the board how to manipulate the 3% hand count to avoid a county wide
hand count?
4. Since voting machines can apparently be accessed over the internet,
what steps has your company taken to insure that they are not tampered
with?
I was concerned to learn that ballots and the software that contains
them is publicly accessible to someone with the technical knowledge
to do so.
Please include these answers with those in response to yesterday ’s letter
by December 29th 2004.
Sincerely,
John Conyers
Evidence of Fraud and Disenfranchisement in Ohio: A Partial List
This post is intended as a resource tool for those doing factual
research on Ohio election 2004 (a) fraud, (b) disenfranchisment, (c)
voter suppression, (d) recount obstruction, and (e) vote machine
tampering. It makes no pretense at comprehensiveness, but is merely an
attempt to compile links which have been posted on this site which are
primary sources of evidence, or which summarize, analyze, or point to,
such sources. They are listed in reverse chronological order of
posting. The permanent link to this post is http://ohioelection2004.com/evidence.htm
Numerous other web sites and blogs provide additional valuable primary sources. Many are listed in the List of Links. Two which I have found especially helpful are Election 2004 (http://shadowbox.i8.com/stolen.htm) and
